Norman, Kevin, Ernie, Bambi, Penny, Harlie, Rosie, Odie, and Sophia are all currently recognized as dogs under the care and attention of famous reality TV star and make-up mogul, Kylie Jenner. Also, it is a well-known fact that the popular Kardashian-Jenner clan is fond of pets, especially those of the canine family. However, it is an even more undisputed fact that Kylie Jenner owns the largest brood of dogs.
A gathering of the Kardashian-Jenner family would most definitely have a feel of a zoo party, mainly because of the fact that between them, members of the family own more than a dozen dogs and other pet animals. However, as previously mentioned, it would appear that Kylie’s fondness for pets, dogs, in particular, is higher. Her ex-boyfriend, Travis Scott, once remarked that he could no longer keep up with the mogul’s pet dogs.
We have all become accustomed to the Keeping up with the Kardashians reality TV show. How about we help you keep up with their pet dogs? Let’s begin with Kylie’s dogs.

What kind of dog does Kylie Jenner have?
It is not much of a secret that Kylie Jenner has a particular fondness for Italian Greyhounds. A closer look at her brood will reveal the fact that almost all the dogs under her stewardship are breeds of the Italian Greyhound. This choice has of course raised questions and made people a little curious about that particular breed of dogs.
The Italian Greyhound also referred to as Italian Sighthound, is an Italian breed of the small British Greyhound. In general, this breed of dog weighs an estimated 5kg (11lbs) and stands at about 13 to 15 inches tall (32 to 38 cm) in height. They usually come in solid black, gray, or isabelline (i.e. pale gray-yellow, pale cream-brown, and or pale fawn [yellowish tan]) colors. Research has also shown that Italian Greyhounds have an average life span of 14 years.
Italian greyhounds are historically popular among Europe’s noble class and royalty and are used primarily to hunt hare and rabbits. They have evolved into the best human companions and are known to be friendly, affectionate and if well trained, quite protective of their owners. These attributes would explain why many celebrities, including Kylie Jenner, prefer their company to the company of other breeds.
How many dogs does Kylie Jenner have?
Recent reports have revealed that Kylie Jenner currently has 9 dogs under her care, although with the makeup mogul’s love for dogs, that number is more likely to increase in the coming years. She started out with just 2 dogs but after those two mated, they produced a good number of puppies, some of which are part of the 9 current puppies. Kylie has also used the adoption process to get more dogs into her family.
Meet Kylie Jenner’s dogs
Kylie Jenner doesn’t just love her dogs. She also clearly values their comfort and she showed how much she does by having a heated and air-conditioned house of their own built for them in 2018. Let’s quickly unveil the identity of these furry canines whose current lifestyles would be a dream for any living species.
Norman
The first of the nine, Norman is an Italian greyhound adopted by Kylie Jenner in 2014. It is safe to say that Norman impressed Kylie a lot and became the primary reason for her unending love affair with Italian Greyhounds. This love was aptly manifested in the lavish party thrown by the reality TV star to celebrate Norman’s first birthday party in the Kardashian-Jenner household.
While quizzing her ex-boyfriend, Travis Scott, a few years ago, on her dog’s identities, Norman’s name was the only name the musician remembered, simply stating that remembering the Alpha dog’s name should count for something. Norman shares an Instagram page with one of the other dogs in the Kylie Jenner brood. Despite the fact that the page has not been updated since October 2017, the IG account boasts hundreds of thousands of followers.
Bambi
Also an Italian Greyhound, Bambi was adopted by Kylie in 2015, along with 2 other dogs currently on her list of dogs. As previously mentioned, Bambi and Norman share an Instagram page with nearly 400k followers at last count. However, that is not all the greyhounds, who for all intents and purposes began as siblings, share between them. In 2016, the “couple” became parents for the first time as they welcomed a couple of pups, currently part of the group. Kylie had to miss the American Music Awards (AMA) to care for the dogs and their new pups.
Sophia
One of two other dogs welcomed into the Kylie Jenner brood alongside Bambi, Sophia is also an Italian Greyhound and currently lives in a dog mansion built for her and her siblings by their human mother in 2018.
Odie
Odie was also adopted in 2015 together with Bambi and Sophia. He is the first dog to break the Italian Greyhound’s stranglehold on the heart of their mother. Odie is a long-haired Daschund and Kylie doesn’t love him any less.
Ernie and Penny
The next 2 Daschund breeds to be welcomed into the make-up business mogul’s family, Ernie and Penny were adopted in 2016 and as of 2022, they live together with their siblings in their air-conditioned, heated, dog mansion. They also feature on Kylie’s Instagram page.
Harlie and Rosy
Harlie and Rosy were both born in Kylie Jenner’s home in 2016 and if it isn’t obvious yet, they are the offspring of Jenner’s first two dogs, Norman and Bambi. That information also makes it clear that they are both Italian greyhounds.
Kevin
Kevin is currently the last member of the brood presently living in the Kylie Jenner dog mansion. He was introduced to the public on February 22, 2019. He is also an Italian Greyhound.
What breed is Kylie Jenner’s new dog?
Kylie Jenner’s most recent canine acquisition is a pale gray and white Italian greyhound named Kevin. The excitement that greeted Kevin’s introduction to the social media family by Jenner is one that would not be easily rivaled. Reports show that more than 5.3 million people liked the initial post before Jenner posted an additional photo on her Instagram story to better show off her new pup.
What kind of dog is Norman?
Norman, also affectionately referred to as Normi, is an Italian Greyhound and certain sources claim that along with Bambi, Sophia and six others are some of the most pampered canines in Hollywood. This statement rings true with glaring evidence like the lavish dog mansion serving to drive that point home.
